Mojo Morgan of Morgan Heritage Reggae Band

Morgan Heritage is the reggae band formed by five children of Jamaican reggae artist Denroy Morgan. They grew up in their father’s music studio in the U.S. the group, which then consisted of eight of the children. Their first appearance was at Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica.

Since then the band has made a name for themselves with their distinctive sound which has become a signature of the band.
The band has since produced fourteen albums with ‘Mission in Progress’ being released in 2008.
But in recent times with several members of the band going solo and doing their own productions, many are wondering whether this signals a crack in the very successful family band.

Recently while in Dominica for their appearance at the World Creole Music Festival, Mojo Morgan took the opportunity several times to call the whisperings ‘Rumours’.
He said Morgan Heritage is here to stay.
